An increasingly advanced technology at increasingly competitive prices makes it really difficult for companies to offer an innovative product that still manages to maintain an adequate price. Fortunately, once again, OnePlus arrives with its new one OnePlus 10 Pro. The title of this review it might sound over the top, but let me tell you more about this OnePlus 10 Pro and on our test.

Let’s start with the important details right away: The OnePlus 10 Pro is a top-of-the-range smartphone that costs over 900 € (depending on the RAM / Memory combination) that wants to set a new standard among the best smartphones out there especially in the camera field. There are many things to tell but will they justify the price?

Design
The version OnePlus gave us for this 10 pro review is the Emerald Forest (in the picture). The smartphone has dimensions and an important weightWe are talking about 163 × 73.9 × 8.55 mm for a good 200.5 grams which however return agreat feel to the hand without ever weighing it down. The back of the mouse is characterized by an excellent quality plastic material with a satin effect that does not retain any type of fingerprint. The edges of the device, as well as the area dedicated to the cameras, is instead in shiny metal, in excellent contrast with the rest of the body.
On the bottom of the smartphone we find thetype C charging input, i Dual Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and dual Sim input. Great absent, as now the standard of the top of the range, the Jack input for the headphones. On the left side we find the volume key while on the right side, in addition to the power button, we find a knurled mobile button to set the phone in silent, vibration or audio mode. The display is a 6.7 ″ AMOLED protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass which has a notch of the front camera on the top left.
Undoubtedly the most intriguing part is that occupied by three rear camera lenses made in collaboration with Hasselblad. The box is made, as anticipated, in metal and is slightly protruding from the body of the smartphone. The three lenses are accompanied by a double LED flash that enriches the composition and design.
Inside the packagein addition to the smartphone, we find a protective rubber cover in the same green color as the smartphone, the instruction booklet, the 80 W SUPERVOOC charger and the iconic OnePLus USB Type C red cable.
Technology
Entering the heart of the OnePlus 10 Pro, we find a first generation Snapdragon 8 processor, the latest invention of the company as well as the most performing with 5G support. The device is supported by technology OnePlus Billion Color Solution for the ability to apply Hasselblad’s Natural Color Calibration to over a billion colors. Our test of the OnePlus 10 Pro
For this review, we tested the new OnePlus 10 Pro for about two weeks during which we took it with us in the best situation to stress a smartphone: on the go.
ILet’s start immediately by saying that this OnePlus 10 Pro is presented in the best way. The soft lines of the screen combine perfectly with the harder and more compact lines of the device’s corners for a very particular design accentuated by the excellent materialsie by the satin touch of the back. Here the camera set stands out best enclosed in the metallic dial. However, it is true that the dial is thicker than the body of the device which causes it to wobble a bit when placed on a flat surface. Fortunately, OnePlus has seen fit to insert in the package a cover of the same color as the smartphone body that eliminates the difference in height, further protects the smartphone and does not make us forget the style that characterizes it.
Display and processor they work in unison to give us a fantastic visual experience. Colors are vivid and vibrant, whether it’s playing video games or watching a TV series. In the same way, the touch screen reacts perfectly without any kind of hitch allowing the finger to slide pleasantly on the display. Despite our attempts and dozens of apps open, the device never showed signs of fatigue reacting perfectly always and in any case.
As gamers we have also stressed him out with the latest and most performing video games such as League of Legends Wild Rift, Genshin Impact e Apex Legends, released just in these days. With everyone he proved to live up to expectations without ever lowering performance. This thanks toHyperBoost Gaming Engine, which offer stable gaming performance and maximum responsiveness. There is also General Performance Adapter (GPA) Frame Stabilizer to reduce the fluctuation of the frame rate during the game.
Hasselblad approved cameras
A separate discussion must be made for the photographic sector, which left us really amazed though does not deviate from the previous model very long. The collaboration with Hassleblad continues but the progress we expected does not go so well. Don’t get us wrong, as you can see from these examples, the camera rendition is amazing images and colors are more vivid than everthe shortcomings of the last generation remained as a tendency towards cold tones and an excessive overexposure of the shadows.
