The final chapter of Netflix’s most popular Spanish series – The Paper House – will be released in two parts of 5 episodes each
The most famous robbery in the history of television is about to end. Netflix, in fact, has released some important details on the final season of the TV series La casa di carta. The part 5 of the adventure created by Álex Pina will be divided into two volumes, both composed of 5 episodes: the first will be available from September 3, the second from December 3 2021 in all countries where the streaming service is active.
An exciting one was also released to announce the new release date teaser trailer, in which we see the band of robbers led by The Professor return to action.
The house of paper 5: why is it divided into two parts?
Regarding the particular choice to divide the final season of the TV series into two parts, the creator Álex Pina has released a statement:
When we started writing Part 5, in the midst of the pandemic, we realized that we would have to upset the expectations of the ten-episode classic and used all the tools at our disposal to create the feeling of a season finale or a series finale already in volume 1. We have chosen to use an extremely aggressive approach, one that puts the gang in a tight spot. In volume 2 we focus more on the emotional situation of the characters. It’s a journey through their sentimental map that connects us directly to where they started from.
Season 5 will start exactly where the previous one left off: the gang has been closed in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. They managed to save Lisbon but in the meantime The Professor was kidnapped from Sierra and has no escape plan.
To make matters worse, thearmy, a far more powerful enemy than all those faced by the gang so far.
To find out if the protagonists will be able to get out of this dangerous situation unscathed, we just have to wait for September.
