The soundtrack of the video game The Simpsons: Hit & Run is now on Spotify

It’s been 20 years since the release of the famous The Simpsons: Hit & Runa video game set in the world of the Simpsons but intended as a parody of games in the style Grand Theft Autowith a soundtrack that has become iconic.

We are talking about instrumental songs such as Simpsons Hotline, Flowers By Irene and Petty Theft Homer, which served as the background for the raids of the players in the city of Springfield.

In 2021 Matt Selman, co-showrunner of The Simpsons, had told IGN that he would love a remastered version of Hit & Run. However, he had admitted that “at a company level it’s a complicated thing to try to make it happen”. Dreaming costs nothing.

Meanwhile, in other gaming news, Google Stadia has announced that its controllers will be usable on other devices as well. The news comes just two days after the imminent closure of the service, which will close its doors permanently.
