Salernitana-Roma: dove vedere la partita?

The Volkswagen Golf R shows its muscles in the snow

The German company wanted to show off the power and muscles of the new Volkswagen Golf R in a snow event: the new car will arrive shortly, in the next few months

Volkswagen is moving a lot when it comes to production. In addition to the restyling of the Volkswagen Golf, the brand new and very powerful one also arrives Volkswagen Golf R. To announce the return of this model, the German company took the opportunity with the Ice Race in Zell am See in Austria. In this event the Golf R flexed its muscles directly on ice and snow. To maintain tradition, the car has so much power (but without exaggerating) and a sporty look but not too much.

Volkswagen Golf R: what changes?

Actually the version Golf R has undergone some interventions that are not so different from the restyling of the Golf 2024. We have redesigned front and rear lights with the illuminated logo on the front. Of course there is the typical Volkswagen branding R with some touches that give it one sporty style. On the Golf R model, however, the redesigned bumper with larger air intakes, a slightly more modest spoiler on the rear compared to what we find on the GTI version and alloy wheels with a dedicated design stand out. We don’t have any images of the interior, but considering the trend we expect the seats, steering wheel and other details to have one sporty style in turn. The platform will always be the classic one MQB Evo of the normal Golf, although it will perhaps have some updates in terms of structure and other elements. We don’t know anything about the engine, but it’s obvious that there will be the 2.0 turbo petrol 4 cylinderprobably modified to overcome the 333 CV and 420 Nm of torque.

The new Volkswagen Golf R will arrive duringestate 2024 with prices still unknown. What do you think? Continue to follow us on techgameworld.com for other news on the Golf R and much more from the world of motors.
