The Walking Dead is certainly one of the longest-running and most loved series of the last fifteen years. Designed by Frank Darambont (the Kingsian director of The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile), the series has reached eleven seasons. And this is if we consider only the “canonical” series, ignoring instead the entire spin-off series (Fear the Walking Dead, Rick e Michonne e Dead City) that was created around the original series. The post-apocalyptic series features actors in its cast who have strongly linked their names to the series and the characters they portray. Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Jon Bernthal and others were acclaimed for their trials. Furthermore, the series was also nominated for several prestigious awards, including best drama series ai Golden Globes del 2011. It can count on a large amount of seasons and episodes, as well as an ever-increasing amount of spin-offs.
AMC (the same production company that made Breaking Bad) produced the original series and all the spin-offs. The mother series, in fact, is distributed in the States through its own streamer, AMC+. In Italy, where the production company's streaming platform is not available, the mother series and the spin-offs (here is an article) are instead distributed on various streamers.
