After many postponements, the thriller La donna alla finestra is ready to debut on Netflix next May 14: here is the official trailer
It’s been about a year and a half since we saw the first trailer for de The woman at the window.
The film directed by Joe Wright, with protagonists Amy Adams e Gary Oldman, he definitely did not have an easy life. The first test screenings left viewers a bit confused, so much so that screenwriter Tony Gilroy (author of the Bourne saga) was hired to rewrite some scenes. Fox, the film’s production company, was then bought by Disney, thus leaving the project momentarily in a corner. The rest is history: global pandemic, lockdowns, closed cinemas, blocked productions, various postponements.
Now it’s finally the right time: the thriller / mystery Woman in the Window will make its Netflix debut on May 14th.

On the occasion of its long-awaited release, Netflix shared a new official trailer. Let’s see it right away:
Woman in the Window is based on AJ Finn’s bestseller of the same name (aka Dan Mallory), adapted for the screen by Tracy Letts. Below is the official synopsis:
An agoraphobic child psychologist (Amy Adams) befriends a neighbor across the street from her New York brownstone, only to see her own life turned upside down when the woman goes missing and suspects a criminal act is behind it. A stellar cast brings to life Tracy Letts’ script based on the compelling novel and bestselling, where shocking secrets are revealed and nobody – and nothing – is what it seems.
In the cast, in addition to the aforementioned protagonists, we will also find Anthony Mackie, Fred Hechinger, Wyatt Russell, Brian Tyree Henry, Tracy Letts, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Julianne Moore.
