Xiaomi 12: the three models of the series arriving on the market
Recently, the whistleblower Digital Chat Station revealed that the new models of the Xiaomi 12 series could arrive on the market all together. And with the occasion, he released some preview information on the company’s smartphones. Reportedly, the model 12 Pro it will be smaller than the Xiaomi Mi 11 5G, which featured a huge 6.81-inch display. We could therefore expect a 6.67 inch AMOLED display with curved edges and central hole. Furthermore, being the flagship model of the series, it should arrive on the market with a chip Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the latest model announced by Qualcomm.

As for the Xiaomi 12 and 12x models, it seems that these will arrive on the market with an AMOLED display with curved edges, with Full HD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and fingerprint sensor hidden under the screen. Notably, the 12x model may have a 6.28-inch display. And then, apparently, the basic version could have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, while the 12x will come with the Snapdragon 870 chip. Finally, the Xiaomi 12x will also be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery which supports 67W fast charging and 33W wireless charging. The base model, on the other hand, may support 100W charging.
The photographic sector is also interesting, considering that both models in the series could have one 50 MP main camera, which is added to a 20 MP front camera in the case of the 12x model. Beyond these diversified details, all models of the Xiaomi 12 series will be launched with Android 11 or 12 based on MIUI 13.
