Coming to the platform on June 9th Netflix, the new animated series signed Zerocalcare, from the title, This world won’t make me bad. In fact, after the success achieved with the first project Tear along the edges; Zero limestone he ventured into a second work written and directed by himself, defined as even more engaging, bizarre and colorful.
Produced by Movements Production in collaboration with BAO Publishing; the series will be composed from 6 total episodes lasting half an hour, it will be enriched by the internal vicissitudes and foul language linked to the artist’s personality. As evidenced by the new official teaser released; Once again Zero limestone it will overwhelm us in its composed narrative universe from deep reflection on the meaning of life and the continuous search for a place in the world. Starring once again in the series This world won’t make me bad; the historical characters we have already met, ready to lead us into the dense network of words, paranoia and sudden streams of consciousness. Thus they make their stage entrance Sarah, Dryl’Armadillo e the consciousness of Zero (also this time voiced by the famous Valerio Mastandrea). To add to this list of creative and misfit friends; also the unpublished character of Cesar.
Through a characteristic and well-constructed language, the story takes shape around a single great central theme, namely: the difficulty of remaining oneself in the midst of life’s contradictions. A title that becomes a mantra and a source of self-conviction so as not to abandon one’s ideals in a world that draws us all to be the same; drawing its inspiration from a song by a Roman singer-songwriter.
