Thor and Loki separated in 2018 in Avengers Infinity War due to the death of the God of Mischief at the hands of Thanos, but Marvel is planning their reunion, “the sun will shine on them again”
The second season of Loki will arrive on Disney+ on October 6, a series in which we will see the character played by Tom Hiddleston attempt to fix the problems caused by Sylvie and save the multiverse by stopping Kang. During an interview with Variety, producer Kevin Wright confirmed that they are working so that we can see a reunion between Loki and Thor as soon as possibleobviously with the variant of the TV series of the God of Deception.

Kevin Wright assures us that the reunion between Thor and Loki is one of the main plans of the MCU and that we will be able to see it soon. The words of the Jotnar spoken at the beginning of Avengers Infinity War, “the sun will shine on us again”, are not pronounced randomly. In fact, their reunion will certainly happen, probably in Thor 5 or in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. an event not so far away, but we’re sure that when it happens, we’ll all get excited about this moment we’ve been waiting for since 2018. Loki’s death broke our hearts and Thor deserves a moment of relief after all his losses which led the Thunderer to depression. We expect that this moment will be intense and moving, Chris Hemsworth has in fact expressed his desire to bring his character back to the seriousness of the past. Wright answered the question about the dynamic duo’s return.
I don’t want to give too much away, but yes, Thor and Loki will reunite in one of the next MCU projects, the sun will shine on them again, it’s the priority of the story we’re telling in the series. Loki is going through all this to change, understand his brother’s point of view, work on his emotions.
