I tributi a Iron Man e Black Widow
In one of the film’s most memorable scenes, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is literally laid bare in front of Zeus (Russell Crowe). Already in the trailer it was possible to see on the back of the God of Thunder a large tattoo depicting the famous horns of his brother, complete with writing “Rip Loki”. Next to it is a tattoo of a scroll, which bears the names of several figures who have disappeared throughout the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In fact, we find written “Mother”, to indicate Frigga (René Russo), who disappeared during the events of Thor: The Dark World; “Father”, or Odin (Anthony Hopkins), morto in Thor: Ragnarok; “Heimdall” (Idris Elba |) and “Loki” (Tom Hiddleston), both killed by Thanos at the start of Avengers: Infinity War. Below, finally, we find the names “Tony” and “Natasha” (Robert Downey Jr. e Scarlett Johansson), both of whom fell in the battle against Thanos in Avengers: Endgame. A touching easter egg to pay homage to two of the most beloved heroes of the Marvel superhero saga.
As for the decision to show Thor in all his glory, the director and co-writer Taika Waititi expressed himself like this:
We all knew we wanted to do it from the start. It was in the first draft of the script, actually, and Chris agreed too. You know, I think with a body like Chris’s, he understands too.
