Summer is reconfirmed as the gaming season par excellence: here is the date for the 2023 edition of the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase
While some industry giants show off their acquisitions of smaller development teams, others pick up the equally small shards left over from theE3 2023: an example is THQ Nordicwhich has just reconfirmed its own Digital Showcase annual. As always, the notice will probably be enough to not make commitments. The presentation will keep us company under the umbrella between a granita and a sunstroke, given that the day concerned will be none other than theAugust 11th. Of course, our rhetorical preamble on E3 is a little less, but if we associate summer with video games, Geoff Keighley is also partly to blame.

We could say that THQ Nordic’s Digital Showcase is aimed at the past, present and future, and you, for your part, might as well take us literally. The company has in fact declared that the presentation will cover both the “world premiere announcements” and the “updates and reveals regarding the titles already announced”. We can afford a pinch of full-announcements for the second option, given that the reboot of Alone in the Darkthe sci-fi themed open world action-adventure Outcast 2: a New Beginning e il puzzle-platformer in co-op Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy. In addition, the publisher has other rabbits hidden in the hat. We remind you that among the upcoming titles there are in fact also AEW: Fight Forevera remake of Gothic, Wreckreation, Jagged Alliance 3 and still others. Whether these games appear in the presentation scheduled for the month of August, then, still remains to be seen. In the meantime, we can promise you that we will stay tuned for more details.
