The second edition of the Tito Film Festival has come to an end: the story of what happened in the days of the festival
The second edition of the Tito Film Festival, the film festival dedicated to Tito Marconi, the historic first president of Cinecittà. The Festival of Gratitude was held in Costacciaro, in the province of Perugia, under the artistic direction of Diego Capitani. The event, organized thanks to the patronage of the Umbria Region and the Umbria Film Commission Foundation of the Municipality of Costacciaro, was staged from 30 June to 3 July. Tito Film Festival: the story of the event
About 5,000 people took part in the Festival, which offered about thirty events, including talks, interviews, screenings and meetings with the public. Four very full days, which also saw the assignment of various awards. The Gratitude Award went to the Italian Cinema Masters who have their origins in Costacciaro, to the actors belonging to the UP & Down theater company, to the artist Marco Gallotta, to the entrepreneur Gennaro Coppola, to the Dubbing Directors Emanuela Rossi and Myriam Catania, to the digital creator Awed , to manager Simone Santercole and finally to Paola Cecchini Micara.
So many protagonists, including those who received the awards and other special guests such as the actress Lorena Cesariniwhich we saw in the last edition of the Sanremo Festival, a Francesco Pannofino, godfather of the Festival. During the review, the best short film was also awarded: the award, launched by One More Pictures in collaboration with Rai Cinema Channel and RUFA, was won by Giacomo Raffaelli with his Grandissima.
On the sidelines of the event, some protagonists also made statements. How Awed, one of the winners of the Gratitude Award: “As in any field, to do this job you need to have passion and not think about money or people’s judgment. Working on the internet in a lasting way means winning people’s esteem, so that the public always follows you ”. Also Myriam Catania spoke in these days: “Dubbing is a very difficult job because in addition to knowing how to act you must also have a lot of technique, but this must not prevail over the emotional part”.
