Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint: the Plant a Tree initiative is here

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint shows its green soul with laudable Plant a Tree initiative

In a period like ours, in which there is no lack of a day in which the most ruthless concern for the fate of our planet is not expressed, being in the presence of ecological initiatives it’s always nice, especially if these actions embrace our favorite pastime, that is videogames. And the last protagonist who goes to commit himself to safeguard the environment is Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which as confirmed by Ubisoft itself will launch the Plant a Tree initiative. Between a free weekend and the other (the last one was held a few weeks ago) and more playful in-game events, there is also room for a bit of altruism it seems.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint: let’s save the planet thanks to Plant a Tree

The initiative in question, which began yesterday, will allow players to be involved in the reforestation of the planet Earth, the whole by planting a tree in-game, until next December 20. For the duration of the event, for each tree planted, Ubisoft will donate € 0.15, up to a maximum of € 40,000, a Ecologi, a social company dedicated to financing climate-related projects with partners around the world. In short, a good way to do good, while having fun.

In order to participate in the initiative, it will be necessary to complete the puzzles related to reforestation on the dedicated site of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, so as to discover a place in Auroa where you can plant a tree in-game. Once grown, the tree will allow you to earn a themed patch and the title of Gardener. The tree and rewards will remain permanently in the game even after the event ends.

For the occasion, it will also be possible to purchase a limited edition of the cosmetic ghillie suit, the snowy woods ghillie sweatshirt bundle which includes a hood, top and pants, in the in-game store. For each snowy woods ghillie sweatshirt bundle purchased, Ecologi will receive € 5, with no maximum limit.
