The videogame fame of Tony Hawk has undergone a stellar revival over the past year, all thanks to the very successful remake collection that goes by the name of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. The return of the 128-bit era classics seen on PS4 and Xbox One, unsurprisingly, will soon receive an port for next generation consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X / S), in addition to the one for Nintendo Switch. And given the historical importance of the brand, fans will certainly be pleased with those who will take care of the releases in question.

To unravel the mystery behind the team in charge of the ports in question, an Activision spokesperson thought directly, who confirmed that the conversion works of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 will be managed directly by the guys from Vicarious Visions. This is a name that should certainly not sound new to fans of the digital feats of the famous skater, as this is the group of developers responsible for the original versions of the game pair.
The news is certainly interesting, given that according to some recent reports the team had been dissolved and merged into Blizzard, to take care of the work related to the upcoming Diablo 2: Resurrected.
