Here comes a collaboration dreamed of by all the fans who loved the iconic 80s film starring Tom Cruise, and especially its recent sequel. On the occasion of the release of the new Top Gun: Maverick, the air combat game Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is launching a dedicated DLC.
TOP GUN: Maverick Aircraft Set introduces in-game new planes, some emblems and the famous soundtrack of the film, among other innovations. The DLC is available today on PC (via Steam), PlayStation and Xbox.

The new DLC is now available for purchase separately from the original game, and includes new planes directly from the movie including:
- F/A-18E Super Hornet | Top Gun: Maverick (The Boeing Company)
- F-14A Tomcat | Top Gun: Maverick (Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation)
- F-14A Tomcat | Top Gun: Maverick
- Dark Star
- F-14A Tomcat

The collaboration also brings in-game the famous song Danger Zone, arranged by Keiki Kobayashi, which will be the background to the air battles in multiplayer mode. Other additional elements include:
- 10 emblems, including Maverick, Hangman, Payback, Rooster and Bob, along with two logos from the film.
- A total of 12 battle names, including Goose and Cougar
- “Top Gun Main Theme” (arranged by Keiki Kobayashi)
- “Danger Zone” (arrangiata da Keiki Kobayashi)
