The “Special Editions” are much loved by Triumph which is not happy with having multiplied the new motorcycle models and technical developments this year with in particular the launches of the Trident 660, the Speed Triple 1200 RS and the long-awaited Tiger Sport. 600, the Hinckley-based manufacturer continued this fall with the unveiling of Gold Line variants for its Modern Classic range. But the brand doesn’t stop there and is now unveiling four additional limited editions of the Street Twin, Thruxton RS as well as Rocket 3 R and GT.
The Street Twin comes with an edition EC1 which differs from the standard model for its exclusive livery that combines matt aluminum and silver. The model is also decorated with mudguards in the same color as the paint, with dedicated logos and can also receive an optional silver windshield. This accessory is exclusive to the EC1. The direction indicators and the LED taillight are minimal, while the saddle with its custom classic look remains comfortable. To get it, we will have to wait until January 2022, and be ready to shell out 9,850 euros.
Street Twin EC1
The sportiest model of the classic British range, la Thruxton RS benefits from an edition “Ton Up” in reference to its glorious past. The Thruxton is in fact the first production bike to have exceeded the Ton (100 miles / hour) and features its unmistakable 50/60 café racer look, much acclaimed by Ton-Up Boys. This special edition is also distinguished by its livery which features a blue color on the tank. The front fender and seat shell are coated sideways in white with a red 100 Special Edition logo. The Thruxton also benefits from an exclusive accessory that is a fork crown to match the color of the tank. The Thruxton RS Ton Up Edition is powered by the charismatic 1200cc Bonneville twin-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 105 HP at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 112 Nm at just 4,250 rpm, Euro 5 homologated. The “Ton Up” version will be available from December 2021 at the price of 18,050 euros.

Double Rocket among the Triumph Special Editions
Finally, these are the two variants of the Rocket 3 cruiser, R and GT, which come in an exclusive livery with thespecial edition 221, which is the number of Newton Metri achieved by the monstrous torque (at just 4,000 rpm) of the English 3-cylinder. Furthermore, the special livery not only has a simple metallic red paint (Red Hopper), but also maintains the key characteristics of the engine: displacement, power, torque. Some trim elements have a black finish to contrast with the mechanics and engine. This is the case with the headlight shell or the front fender brackets. Prices? For the Rocket 3 R 221 starts at 24,300 euros while it goes up to 25,100 euros for the Rocket 3 GT 221.

All of these bikes will be available at various times at dealerships and will only remain so for one year. Triumph has in fact decided to offer these special editions for a limited time, but without imposing restrictions on the number of copies produced.
