Ubera famous private transport company, announced on its website the redesign of its app, enriching it with updates that will simplify and optimize its use.
What will the Uber app redesign be about?
First of all Uber, for the restyling of the app, has thought of one new home screenmaking it easier to book rides and deliveries with Uber Eats.
In addition there will also be two additions: the new tab “Services” as a one-stop shop for rides and deliveries available in the city of reference e Activity Hub to track your Eats order rushes in one screen.
As for booking your favorite places and rides, after clicking on “Where?” will appear on the initial screen “Saved places” where a list of customized destinations and ride types will be suggested based on your preferences and past activities.
An interesting novelty for iOS users
The Uber app will support Live Activities e Dynamic Island for users iPhone with iOS 16 and above, to easily track the real-time progress of a ride and receive updates such as vehicle details, ETA information and trip status. All without opening the Uber app, but simply by displaying it on your smartphone’s lock screen.
For iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max users, Uber ride progress will also be displayed on Dynamic Island, even when using other apps.
