Again, Animal Crossing: New Horizons undermines FIFA 21 among the best-selling video games in our weekly appointment with sales figures
Also this week the sales data British for i video games, e Animal Crossing: New Horizons he still proves capable of regaining the top ten one year after the release. The Nintendo Switch title, despite a 21% drop in sales, has sold over one million copies in the UK, making it one of only two 2020 titles to succeed. The other, losing the first place compared to last week, is FIFA 21, whose sales drop by a more incisive 34%. This is not even the only weekly crash, as you will see shortly.
Sales figures for video games for mid-April
Overall, sales figures for video games see a 28% drop across the entire physical format market. We report in particular the slip in sixth position of Monster Hunter Rise, due to a collapse of 56%, and that in sixteenth place of Outriders after a 74% drop. The latter title is also available through Xbox Game Pass, but in this data we only count the numbers of the digital format. There is not much more to say, so we propose ours again table; the positions in the left column are for data from two weeks ago, which we saw last week.
