What happens if martial arts and ancient Asian traditions are mixed with skates? He reveals it to us Way of the Dragonthe new season of Roller Champions – Ubisoft’s free-to-play sports title for console and PC that mixes skating, basketball and American football.
Via del Drago brings with it several new features such as themed maps and arenas, new minigames and a series of technical improvements (such as total cross-platform).
The season will come through a free update starting from 18:00 today (Tuesday 4 October). The update will be available for all platforms, namely Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC (via Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store).
All the contents of the new season of Roller Champions
As mentioned, this is a themed season, which will therefore introduce a series of new elements such as:
- Three new arenas: Bangkok Arena, Zen Temple and Dragon Temple. For the first two weeks of the season, these will be the only arenas available in game. From the third week onwards, all maps from the previous season will also return.
- Cross-play: It will now be possible to play with friends across all platforms
- Improved matchmaking and game stability
- A new minigame in the skatepark every week: New modes or weekly mini-games that will allow you to progress in the Roller Pass
- New characters and related custom backgrounds
With clear references to the film Rollerball (1975), Roller Champions offers players a new, high-speed sport with shooting mechanics, passing and tackles.
