Microsoft (for more information click here) announced the launch of Visual Studio 2022 17.3 Preview 2which is now available and serves as an Arm64 application on Windows 11. The first ever version of Visual Studio available for Arm devices will assist users in creating and debugging Arm64 apps natively on Arm based processors.

With this particular release, Microsoft extends support to .NET Framework in the form of the .NET Framework 4.8.1 runtime and SDK. The preview supports Windows Forms, WPF, and web apps, but plans are underway to further expand its reach to Windows App SDK, .NET MAUI e UWP (Universal Windows Platform) in futuro.
