There’s a lot of talk about it and it’s breaking all kinds of records, but will Palworld ever arrive on PS5? This time it was Shuhei Yoshida who responded
The phenomenon of the moment is definitely that “Pokémon with guns” (the mod will also arrive, obviously) which, in recent days, has broken several sales and access records, especially if we’re talking about an indie. Yes, we are talking about Palworld again, a title developed by Pocket Pair currently available in early access on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series S, as well as free to play for all Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Five million: this is the number of copies sold in three days from the updated release and which continues to rise, despite, we repeat, Palworld is available on Game Pass. However, there is one thing that all fans are wondering: will Palworld ever arrive on PS5? And perhaps an answer has arrived in the last few hours.
Palworld on PS5? There is, of course, all hope
Answer given directly by Shuhei Yoshida, head of the indie division of Sony Interactive Entertainment. In the last few hours, the man had an exchange on Twitter with the developers of Palworld, congratulating him on the unprecedented success of the game. A user then asked Yoshida to work on bringing the game to Sony consoles, to which the man responded with a quick “Yes”, also tagging Jingwen Zhu, Sony PlayStation’s executive development partner for China and Japan.

Over the weekend, the Pocket Pair community manager also took to Twitter to clarify the developers’ position. There is in fact a previous statement, in which he asked for which console Palworld would be available at launch, which seemed to deny any arrival on PS5 too. Rather misunderstandable, it must be admitted, but the aforementioned community manager, known as Bucky on Twitter, commented:
This was in no way a statement that Palworld will never come to PlayStation. Please don’t twist my words to perpetuate silly arguments. Thank you!
This old tweet is suddenly doing the rounds and apparently needs clarifying so:
The above posted said Palworld may release on ps4, ps5, Xbox or PC.
