Through a press release, Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo have released the launch trailer for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, available today on PC and consoles
Among the great titles highly anticipated in March there is, of course, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty (of which we gave our first impressions in this preview!) Arrived today on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | Yes, as well as available since launch on Xbox Game Pass. Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja therefore invite you to join the fight for salvation from the dark fate of the Three Realms, infested by demons. The title is an action-packed dark fantasy, developed by the same team of NioH from which it permeates some features. In the past few hours, the launch trailer that you find in the middle of the article has been disclosed.
Set in AD 184, during the late Han Dynasty, Wo Long presents a land engulfed in chaos and destruction. With an imperial dynasty on the brink of collapse, it falls to an unnamed soldier of the militia to overcome adversity and fight for survival in the turbulence of a version of the Three Realms smitten with demons and overrun by some of the most powerful and intimidating warriors in history, including Liu Bei, Cao Cao and Sun Jian. To overcome the difficulties, players will have to awaken their inner strength by mastering the fluid sword fighting of Chinese martial arts, casting Sorcery Spells based on the Five Phases (elements), and even summoning Divine Beasts when the situation seems most desperate.
