Wolves, thriller produced by Apple Studios, after 15 years it reunited George Clooney and Brad Pitt on the same set. Filming began in January and, finally, the film has an official release date. Before being distributed on the Apple TV+ streaming platform, Wolfs will debut in cinemas for Sony Pictures Releasing starting from September 20, 2024. The theatrical release before streaming is a point on which the protagonists insisted a lot during the negotiation phase. The actors have in fact agreed to reduce their fee as long as the film also reaches the big screen.

We still don’t know much about the plot of the feature film. There is behind the camera Jon Watts, director of the Spiderman trilogy starring Tom Holland. The synopsis reported on IMDB states that the film follows two lone wolves who are assigned to the same job. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the stars’ role is that of two professional hitmen accustomed to working alone, but forced to collaborate for a complex assignment.
The few photos leaked from the set don’t add much, as they mostly show Pitt and Clooney driving around New York. So every detail is currently shrouded in mystery. The two stars, who had not shared the stage since Burn After Reading back in 2008, also participate in Wolves as producers, each with their respective company: the Smokehouse Productions by George Clooney and the Plan B Entertainment by Brad Pitt. The presence of is confirmed in the cast Austin Abramsseen in the Euphoria series and of Amy Ryan (The Office, Only Murders in the Building).
