Ubisoft has announced that theexit of the new shooter XDefiant and the related preseason are postponed to data to be allocated. As you might expect, the delay of the preseason also essentially means a delay of the title itself, as the preseason would basically be the game’s launch period before the start of its first season. XDefiant: the release date could still be a long way off
Announced via a post on the social media platform X (now ex-Twitter), the postponement of release date is intended to help the development team that is working on XDefiant to refine the overall experience of the game and make changes taking into account the player feedback. The French giant has not yet announced a real release window for XDefiant, but it was rumored that the game would arrive on the market towards the end of October. The indiscretion, reported by various press outlets, came after the title in question was delayed compared to the original release scheduled for summer 2023. Ubisoft has already stated that it intends to support XDefiant “for a long time”. The latter is in development for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It’s worth noting, however, that the PS4 and Xbox One versions will likely not be available at launch.
