The multinational Xiaomi has just announced the new Mi Smart Band 6 which adds new functions as well as improving some technical features compared to the predecessor
During the Xiaomi event held today, the sixth generation of smartband of the Chinese house was presented, let’s talk about the Mi Band 6, available for purchase from end of April in Xiaomi stores and in the main electronics chains. Compared to the previous iteration, we have hardware improvements starting from display bigger to get to his waterproof up to 50 meters underwater.

Note that the display size has had a significant increase, as it is now from 1,56″ (the predecessor had a 1.1 “panel) with an increase therefore of 50%.
Then there is a pixel per inch density of 326PPI for an even clearer view of the contents. The declared autonomy is also of 14 days with a complete recharge of the smartband of just under 2 hours. Finally, its impermeability to water will allow you to use it in the shower or during swimming activities. Unfortunately it should be noted that the device it will not mount an NFC sensor, at least in the version destined for Europe.

Thanks to the numerous sensors, the new Xiaomi proposal will include several new functions. It will be capable of monitor 30 different types of physical activity, in addition to heart rate monitoring, of stress levels and gods sleep cycles. It will then allow the measurement of oxygen saturation in the blood. Finally, the Xiami Mi Band 6 will be able to work on all smartphones that have an operating system Android or iOS starting with the respective versions 5.0 e 10.
