Xiaomi may have entered into a new partnership with Leica for its next top of the range. The indiscretion comes directly from China and has not yet been confirmed by Xiaomi. The partnership between Xiaomi and Leica could be made official on the occasion of the presentation of the new Xiaomi 12. In particular, the new flagship could benefit from Leica’s experience and technologies Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
Xiaomi and Leica together for the photographic sector of the new Xiaomi 12 Ultra
The new top of the range Xiaomi 12 Ultra could be the first smartphone to be created thanks to the collaboration between the two companies. The device, according to some rumors, will arrive on the market with a photographic sector based on a 50 Megapixel main sensor. The sensor from 1/1.5” should present one 5x optical zoom. For the moment, no further details are available relating to the photographic sector of the new smartphone from Xiamo.
The other specifications
The new smartphone will arrive on the market with the SoC Snapdragon 898, new top of the range from Qualcomm. To complete the specifications there will be an AMOLED display and the ability to take advantage of up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. According to the first rumors, the battery will be 4,500 mAh with support for fast charging from 120 W. More details on the new smartphone will certainly arrive in the next few days.
