During its annual event Zoomtopia, Zoom announced its plans to bring a number of innovations and new features to its video conferencing platform, including the simultaneous translation and the live transcription. Its purpose is to start the next era of communications. Here are all the details.
Simultaneous translation and live transcription coming to Zoom
One of the features that the users of the software have been looking forward to is the translation and the live transcription. With the addition of the simultaneous translation in real time and theexpansion of Zoom’s existing live transcription feature, meetings will become even more inclusive.
The company also revealed that support for more languages will come next year.
Hybrid and remote workforces rely on collaboration tools to be efficient and productive. For this reason Zoom plans to further expand access to Zoom Whiteboard. The company whiteboard will act as one digital canvas which facilitates collaboration in real time.
Zoom users will also have the option of interact with the whiteboard.
Zoom also revealed new details on its solution of hot desking which will be available later this year. Once the feature is launched, employees will be able to reserve desks they spaces in their offices its one interactive map. Thanks to simple authentication, they will then be able to take their personal Zoom experience anywhere.
Zoom’s objectives
Plus, Zoom wants meetings, chats, webinars, and phones to work together like a single communication solution. Its purpose is to offer the possibility to easily navigate between them.
