American Horror Stories, a spin-off of the acclaimed American Horror Story, arrives tomorrow on Disney +
No, you did not read it wrong and no, we did not write it wrong. American Horror Stories is not American Horror Story, but a spin-off of it. We are in the same universe as the mother series and each of its seven episodes will be self-contained, thus giving life to an unmissable anthology series. Unlike Story, where each season represented a world of its own, in Stories we will have seven different stories condensed into one hour of viewing.
American Horror Stories: la trama
In each episode, the authors explored a horror theme and a specific setting easily attributable to the atmosphere of the popular original TV series: the haunted house, a drive in, a dark camping in the woods and so on. The theme of the series is “myths and legends“: Zombies, monsters, demons, ghosts, all creatures and icons from horror movies and series will appear in a rather ambitious spin-off of one of the most beloved series of the last 10 years.
The series, original Star, is created by Ryan Murphy, the same who gave birth to American Horror Story, together with his faithful partner Brad Falchuck. Murphy worked, in addition to the newborn Stories and the tenth season of Story, also on the Netflix original series (with which he has a deal), The Watcher.
American Horror Stories will arrive in our country tomorrow, exclusively on Disney +. However, this is not the world debut, as it has been broadcast in the United States on the FX broadcaster since July 15.
Like all anthology series, the cast includes several performers, such as Matt Bomer, Celia Finkelstein, John Carroll Lynch, Naomi Grossman, Charles Melton, Chad James Buchanan, Billie Lourd, Cody Fern, Dylan McDermott and Jamie Brewer.
