The IIDEA association has announced the 2021 nominations for the Italian Esports Awards to be held in October
IIDEA, The association representing the Italian gaming industry, has announced the nominations of Italian Esports Awards 2021, an award dedicated to celebrating the protagonists of the world of eSports. The awards ceremony will take place next Tuesday 5th October at 7 pm on the Sala Fucine stage inside OGT Torino. The show can also be followed on Twitch on the Round One channel. Italian Esports Awards 2021: all the nominations
The jury of the Italian Esports Awards will be composed of 5 industry experts, who will be: Massimiliano di Marco, reporter for La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ivan Grieco, caster and professional host, Francesco “Deugemo” Lombardo, esports reporter, Filippo Pedrini, Early Stage VC & Senior Business Development of Magnet, and Sara “Kurolily” Stefanizzi, variety streamer. The categories in the competition are 7: Best Italian Team, Best Italian Player, Best Italian Caster, Best Italian Content Creator and Esports Game of the Year, in addition to the novelties of the 2021 Best Italian Event and Best Italian Commercial Activation.
- Best Italian Team: Exeed, Macko Esports, QLASH, Reply Totem e Samsung Morning Stars
- Best Italian Player: Alessio “Aqui” Aquilano, Daniele “Danipitbull” Pinto, Ettore “Ettorito” Giannuzzi, Riccardo “Reynor” Romiti and Valerio Gallo
- Best Italian Content Creator: Dario “Moonryde” Ferracci, Francesco “Cydonia” Cilurzo, Giorgio “Pow3R” Calandrelli, Thomas “Hal” Avallone and Cristiano “ZanoXVII” Spadaccini
- Best Italian Caster: from Emiliano “Moonboy” Marini, Filippo “Etrurian” Burresi, Roberto “Kenhren” Prampolini, Roberto “Slimoo” Zappia and Lapo “Terenas” Raspanti
- Esports Game of the Year: Brawlstars, FIFA21, League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege e Valorant
- Best Italian Event: eSerieA TIM, League of Legends PG Nationals, PogChampsIT, Rainbow Six Siege PG Nationals e Red Bull Campus Clutch
- Best Italian Commercial Activation: Machete Gaming x McDonald’s for McDelivery GGang, Lavazza x Fnatic with the Icons of Italy campaign, the collaboration between the PG Nationals of League of Legends and buddybank, the combination of Pow3R x Adidas and ProGaming x Flowe
This year there will also be the category People’s Choice: Esport Game of the Year, in which the public can choose their favorite game among the various titles dedicated to esports. The voting will take place on the Italian Esports Awards website and it will be possible to participate in the voting until 5 October, the day of the official award ceremony.
