In the past few hours, Activision has confirmed the release date of the new Call of Duty: Warzone map, which is also preparing to change its name by adding “Pacific” with the arrival of Vanguard
The arrival of Call of Duty: Vanguard is becoming more and more imminent. On November 5, the new chapter of the Activision franchise will arrive on all platforms, bringing with it a breath of fresh air also in Warzone, a spin-off battle royale that is an understatement to define successful. Developed by Raven Software, the title is preparing to receive a rather substantial update that will bring with it, in addition to a new map, also a real name change. As already revealed in an interview with VGC in June, the new Warzone map will be set in the Pacific area, a completely different area from those seen so far, and which will share part of the new technologies of Vanguard, based on a enhanced version of the Modern Warfare engine. The new map, called Caldera, will replace that of Verdansk. Starting November 18, a new limited-time mode called Operation: Flashback will begin, allowing players to relive the past 18 months on the Verdansk map. Participants will receive an emblem as a prize, and an animated card in case of victory. Subsequently, starting on November 24, an event called Secrets of the Pacific of Beenox will allow players to learn more about Caldera, its points of interest and other details by completing certain challenges in both Warzone and Vanguard.

Then, starting from November 30, the destruction of Verdansk will have begun with another event also developed by Beenox, but there are no further details on this.
