The Hating Game is the new romantic comedy starring Lucy Hale and Austin Stowell, out in theaters December 10, 2021
The Hating Game is based on Sally Thorne’s novel of the same name, adapted by Christina Mengert and directed by Peter Hutchings.
The plot of the story has as its protagonist Lucy Stutton (Lucy Hale), an enterprising girl with a strong moral ethic, determined to reach important career goals, whose rise is however hampered by Joshua Templeman (Austin Stowell), brilliant and cold rival with whom will enter into strong competition. The rivalry between the two, however, will soon be put to the test by something that the girl had not considered: love.

The main theme of the film will therefore be the relationship between hate and love and how the latter is able to make his way even between rivalries, going beyond our wishes and objectives, even the most solid ones. David Garrett of Vertical Entertainment presents the film as one funny and sensual comedy, able to impress the public.
Fans of Lucy Hale will be happy and curious to find the actress, already known above all to young audiences for having starred in series such as Pretty Little Liars (2010/2017), Truth or Dare (2018) and Katy Keene (2020).
Alongside her, in addition to Austin Stowell, already seen in films such as 90210 (2010) and The Secret Life of an American Teenager (2009-2011), we find, among others, Gina Torres, Corbin Bernsen, Sakina Jaffrey.
The Hating Game, whose trailer has just been released, it will be available in the United States, both in theaters and on demand, from December 10, 2021, we just have to wait for new updates to get news on the Italian release.
