While still not always able to achieve the same performance as their cable-equipped cousins, the convenience they can provide often makes you forget this small deficit. Just think of the various controllers that allow us to play on the console even while lying on the bed or the various PC peripherals that make our desk visually cleaner.
Headphones and earphones have obviously also been affected by this change and maybe they are too those who have undergone the most drastic change, with a completely renewed design. In this review we are going to introduce you to the in-ear headphones UGREEN HiTune T1. How did they behave during our trial period?

Packaging and design | UGREEN HiTune T1 Review
The earphones come in one very elegant packaging, much larger than necessary, but which allows a very neat packaging with special compartments. In the package we find the case with the two earphones inside, a box inside which we can find the charging cable e three additional pairs of bearings silicone in size XS, S and L. Those in size M are already installed on the earphones. Inside the package also we also find the user manual.
The design of the case turns out to be very simple, while that of the earphones is more sought after, with a special angle of 30 ° that allows a truly unique comfort. To this is also added a very thin and light stem, which does not affect the center of gravity. All this, thanks also to the 4 pairs of bearings, allows great fit on any ear, also giving stability to the earphones that are unlikely to fall.
The case turns out a lot compact and modest in size, thanks above all to the internal arrangement of the earphones. The design is very simple and devoid of any details apart from the company logo at the top and the charging socket at the back. There are no usual lights which indicate the amount of charge of the case. However, although not externally, inside we find a light that indicates only if the case is running low or if it still allows us to recharge the headphones.
Functionality and autonomy | UGREEN HiTune T1 Review
As you will already have understood from the technical data sheet and from the title itself, these headphones are characterized by an “almost infinite” duration. Although the lifespan of the earbuds, of about 5 hours, is still average, it is the possibility of recharge them for another 24 hours which truly makes them immortal. The whole goes to join one ultra-fast charging, thanks to the USB type-C port, which will allow us to have them at 100% in just an hour and a half.
We can therefore enjoy our favorite music practically every day of the week, without ever having to recharge the case. A small negative from this point of view comes from cable to recharge the case which is really short. Obviously it is a problem common to all types of this product and therefore it will not affect the final evaluation. Not to mention that we could use any charging cable thanks to the adoption of the USB type-C port by the company.
Although so for now in this review on the UGREEN HiTune T1 earphones we have not found any real negative points, as far as functionality is concerned, I cannot be satisfied with this product. Equipped with a feedback tattile touch, these earphones they are not exactly flawless from this point of view. In fact, the commands are not always received, a bit as if the sensor did not work properly, especially on multiple touches. A striking example is when we want to increase or decrease the volume, but only a touch is detected, pausing the playback.
In short, not really a small problem, especially if we are on a call and instead of changing the volume we risk closing an important call. In addition to this the UGREEN HiTune T1 earphones have another small detail that made me turn up my nose and that it seems fair to me to report in this review. While there is a choice of pre-recorded audio in English or Chinese, the procedure is not explained in the manual. The product that arrived to us in fact presented messages in Chinese.
Although I searched and reread the manual several times, there was nothing on it regarding language selection. However, if you also run into this small inconvenience, know that there is a solution. You will have to place the earphones in the case, making sure the latter is charged, and press the reset button for about 10 seconds. When the earphone indicators flash blue and white 3 times, then you can release the button. Once this is done, the audio should be set to English automatically.
You will understand that guessing when such a device is downloading, when it connects or disconnects is essential for the user. Good idea to insert the audio in English and Chinese since they are among the most spoken languages in the world, however it could be explained to the user how to change the settings if necessary. Furthermore, the volume of the recorded voice remains constant – and even a little too loud I would say – no matter how much you reduce the volume of the earphones.
How is the audio quality? | UGREEN HiTune T1 Review
As expected, the audio quality is not comparable to that of 7.1 surround, nor does it come in the slightest. While the bass is not defined in a clear and limpid way, a different question is for i crystal clear sounds which, at least in an average audio range, result clear and clean. Obviously, if the volume gets too loud, the sound quality collapses, making the sounds an indistinguishable jumble of noise.
The microphones also behave discreetly which manage to capture a clean sound, although it is slightly muffled compared to the original. However, with such a price I didn’t expect anything more in terms of quality. Good it was also the connection of the earphones with the various devices, even at a distance of 7-8 meters and with some walls in the middle to act as an obstacle.

We have now reached the end of this review on the UGREEN HiTune T1 earphones and it is time to take stock. These small earphones weighing around 5 grams are ideal for daily use, whatever you do. Thanks to their design they enjoy a very good fit, making them also excellent for those who train thanks to the IPX5 certification.
While the audio is not excellent, you can enjoy a good experience. During calls the microphone quality was average for what are the standards of these earphones, although the sound was slightly muffled. What really amazes is their duration. Thanks to the case, in fact, you can enjoy 24 hours of use in addition to the 5 standard charge.
Charging times are also almost low, with an hour and a half to recharge everything thanks to the USB type-C port. Therefore, sustaining long training sessions or total leisure will not be a problem. One of the few flaws, however, comes with the language of the pre-recorded audio and its volume, which cannot be adjusted. Even the controls of the earphones leave the time they find due to not great touch feedback. Wouldn’t it have been better at this point to insert a small key to activate these features?
However, despite these small moles, these earphones enjoy a truly competitive price. They are in fact available for purchase at RRP of $ 35.99, about € 30 at current exchange rates.
