The cloud gaming included in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is finally available on all recent Microsoft consoles
Here we are: the cloud gaming is now available to owners of Xbox Series X/S e Xbox One with a subscription Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. “This functionality will initially roll out with our November release to a subset of Xbox players and will roll out to all players in supported markets in the coming weeks,” said Catherine Gluckstein, Head of Xbox Cloud Gaming. You probably already know: Xbox Cloud Gaming allows players to access titles Xbox Game Pass without downloading them and access multiplayer sessions with friends for games that are not installed on physical consoles. The service also allows Xbox One owners to play select Xbox Series X / S games such as Recompile, The Medium, and The Riftbreaker.
“We will also continue to support this capability and expand our cloud game library to include more next-generation games such as Microsoft Flight Simulator in early 2022,” said Gluckstein.

Xbox Cloud Gaming for console launches as part ofupdate from November of Xbox. The latter also includes new accessibility features and addresses hardware shutdown issues while playing certain games.
Microsoft already offers Xbox Cloud Gaming on mobile and PC. In June, the company said it was planning to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming on televisions connected to the internet in a move that will allow players to access services such as Game Pass with no additional hardware required other than a controller. New Xbox Game Pass titles for November include Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition, It Takes Two, Forza Horizon 5, and Evil Genius 2.
The Xbox boss Phil Spencer claimed this week that Game Pass is “very sustainable right now while it continues to grow ”(despite the service attracting fewer new subscribers last year than Microsoft anticipated). Sarah Bond, Microsoft’s head of game ecosystems, also revealed this week that Xbox Game Pass was originally designed as a rental service.
