CD Projekt RED has kicked off the season sales: the discounts involve over 3500 games, including some offered for free by the marketplace
The Christmas spirit has fully involved the marketplace of GOG, now that the discounts protagonists of Christmas sales involving more than 3500 games. According to CD Project RED, the discount percentage goes up to 90%. The development team’s plan is to distribute four titles for free, starting with Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun that will be precisely free until December 15th. This follows the recent news on the CD Projekt RED marketplace. Following to a drastic drop in revenue, the development team intends to focus more “on the core of the business, offering an accurate selection of games entirely with a unique DRM-free philosophy”. The store made its debut in 2008 without abbreviations (“Good Old Games“), And as the name suggests it focused solely on the re-release of old games without any DRM constraints (Digital Rights Management, “Digital rights management”). The sales of Steam will last from 22 December to 5 January, while those ofEpic Games Store they will be from December 16 to January 6 (with one free game per day from December 16 to 30).
