To celebrate the recent release of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet on Nintendo Switch, the protagonists of the new videogames invade the trams and subway stations of Milan. Aspiring Coaches will be able to find them in 81 Milanese stations, or on lines 3, 9 and 14.
In particular, until December 15thit will be possible to “meet” some new generation Pokémon, such as starter Pokémon Sprigatite, Fuecoco e Quaxlyand the legendary ride-ons Koraidon e Miraidon. However, the most nostalgic will be able to travel together with the iconic ones Pikachu (beware of electric shock) ed Eevee.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet invade Milan
In addition to the stations and on the trams, the protagonists of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are obviously available on Nintendo Switch. The two games are just released on November 18th and this weekend they stopped at Milan Games Week & Cartoomics 2022. Moreover Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, in less than a week, have sold over 10 million copies.
Video games represent a real revolution in the Pokémon video game saga, bringing the gaming experience to a vast open world. This dynamic guarantees a higher level of involvement on the part of the player, who is now free to explore a vast game area, even in the company of friends (up to three players online). A freedom that also manifests itself in the story, as players can approach the storyline as they prefer, deciding the order of the three narrative arcs provided.
As per tradition, the game begins with the choice of one of the three initial Pokémon, or Quaxly (the Water-type Pokémon Duckling), Sprigatite (the Grass-type Grasscat Pokémon) e Fuecoco (the Fire-type Fire Drill Pokémon). All three of these Pokémon will be part of the advertising campaign on Milanese means of transport.
The adventure, however, revolves aroundOrange Academy (Scarlet) and at theGrape Academy (Violet), the protagonist’s point of reference, within which the “Search for Treasures” takes place. This is a hunt aimed at discovering the secrets of Paldea, during which the player can choose the narrative path he prefers to take.
