Video games represent a real revolution in the Pokémon video game saga, bringing the gaming experience to a vast open world. This dynamic guarantees a higher level of involvement on the part of the player, who is now free to explore a vast game area, even in the company of friends (up to three players online). A freedom that also manifests itself in the story, as players can approach the storyline as they prefer, deciding the order of the three narrative arcs provided.
As per tradition, the game begins with the choice of one of the three initial Pokémon, or Quaxly (the Water-type Pokémon Duckling), Sprigatite (the Grass-type Grasscat Pokémon) e Fuecoco (the Fire-type Fire Drill Pokémon). All three of these Pokémon will be part of the advertising campaign on Milanese means of transport.
The adventure, however, revolves aroundOrange Academy (Scarlet) and at theGrape Academy (Violet), the protagonist’s point of reference, within which the “Search for Treasures” takes place. This is a hunt aimed at discovering the secrets of Paldea, during which the player can choose the narrative path he prefers to take.
