Managing Director at Atlus Naoto Hiraoka said the company plans to create something even bigger with Persona 6, and is looking for people
The 25th anniversary of the Persona series is approaching and Atlus wants to celebrate it in a big way, starting from September of this year until the autumn of 2022, with many announcements of varying importance. The company has in fact promised many news, with some clues already present on the official website of the franchise that points the finger towards a probable sixth chapter of the Persona series. Also because it is obvious that sooner or later, given the commercial and critical success of Persona 5 (of which you can find our review in its Royal version by clicking here), a Persona 6 will have to appear on the shelves. To be successful, however, Persona 6 will have to be at least equal, but hopefully even better, than its prequel. And it’s not just us who say it.
Naoto Hiraoka, Managing Director at Atlus, has in fact in the past few hours commented on a new staff search page created by the same company, taking up exactly what we were saying above. We all expect Atlus to outdo herself, as she has always done throughout the various chapters of the Persona series. with an even more engaging sixth chapter, full of content and quality compared to Persona 5. And the challenge is quite difficult, considering the already very high level reached. The company is currently looking for an System Planner, uno Scenario Planner, Designers per Artwork 2D, Motion Design and many other locations. This makes us understand that if Atlus is already working on Persona 6, surely the title is in the very early stages of development.

Naoto Hiraoka would comment:
We can’t stop there. When we created “Persona 4”, we had the pressure on us to overcome “Persona 3”. And now that we have to create the “6”, we have to go beyond the “5”. However, qualitatively surpassing Persona 5 with the current staff would be very difficult. I would like to try to overcome this obstacle with all those who want to join us through this job posting.
