Emma Stone doesn't stop anymore: the new film by the two-time Oscar-winning star directed by her husband has been revealed
The beloved actress fresh from the triumph of Poor Creatures! she will be the protagonist of the new film directed by her husband Dave McCary. According to what has emerged in the last few hours, the star should become the protagonist of a new, still untitled film produced by Universal Pictures, which will be directed by Dave McCary, husband of Emma Stone herself. Dave McCary built his career as a screenwriter for the Saturday Night Live, on which he worked from 2013 to 2019while his directorial debut took place in 2017 with the comedy drama Brigsby Bear.

It was also confirmed that Patrick Kang and Michael Levin, supervising producers of NBC and the Young Rock series, will write the film's screenplay. Furthermore, Erik Baiers and Jacqueline Garell will supervise the project on behalf of the major label. Michael H. Weber is confirmed among the producers, while Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and Dan Levine will produce for the 21 Laps studio. Emma Stone, Dave McCary and Ali Herting are in talks to produce the film through the Fruit Tree studio.
After Poor Creatures! Emma Stone is then expected to collaborate again with the Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos for the film in segments Kinds of Kindness, of which the first trailer was revealed a few weeks ago. For the occasion Stone will be supported Willem Dafoe, Jesse Plemons, Margaret Qualley and Hunter Schafer. The star will also be in the cast of the next highly anticipated film Ari AsterEddington, in which he will share the set with Joaquin Phoenix and Pedro Pascal.
