Acer Chromebook Vero: now also in the Education market

All the new Acer Chromebooks for education feature impact-resistant surfaces that meet MIL-STD 810H standards, so as to withstand the daily challenges of a busy school environment. They feature a reinforced corner design that absorbs impact, so you’re protected from drops from heights up to 122 cm and to withstand pressures up to 60 kg. In addition, the doors have been reinforced with a metal plating to protect them from wear and tear resulting from frequent use by students.

The performance-conscious and eco-friendly Acer Chromebook Vero 712 (CV872/T) features a 12th-generation Intel Core processor that helps students perform calculations faster and a 12-inch IPS HD+ display, which aids productivity, with a wider 3:2 aspect ratio that offers 18% more vertical space than a display of the same width, allowing you to view more text, maps and photos without always having to scroll. The Chromebook display, certified TUV Rheinland Eyesafe (Hardware Solution), it also reduces harmful blue light, ensuring users have vivid colors when viewing from their devices. Plus, the powerful processors 12th Generation Intel Cores enable students to tackle more advanced school assignments and run more programs and applications without lag.

Featuring recycled materials and sustainable packaging, the Acer Chromebook Vero 712 is part of the environmentally friendly Vero line, which reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability. The new Acer Chromebook Vero 712 uses recycled materials for many of its components, including 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic in the chassis and display bezel, and 50% PCR plastic in the keys. Even the device box supports the company’s mission to reduce, reuse and recycle with the use of 100% recycled paper.

In addition to the Chromebook Vero, Acer has expanded its lineup of Chromebooks for the education market with three updated models: the convertible Acer Chromebook Spin 512 (R856T) with a 12-inch display, the convertible Acer Chromebook Spin 511 (R756T) with an 11.6-inch display and Acer Chromebook 511 (C736) with an 11.6-inch display. These three Chromebooks are powered by the latest Intel N100 and N200 processors and have the option to include 4G LTE connectivity to ensure fast and reliable access to educational applications virtually anywhere.

The two new convertible Chromebooks are ideal for different learning scenarios, as both feature 360-degree hinges that allow for use in a variety of contexts and display touch Corning Gorilla Glass antimicrobico.

All new Chromebooks support connecting to other devices, displays, and other peripherals. Each of them has two USB 3.2 Type-C ports for transferring data at speeds up to 5 Gbps, for connecting to an HD display, and for charging your device and other products. They are equipped with at least one USB 3.2 Type A port, while Chromebooks 511, Chromebook Spin 511 and Chromebook Spin 512 also include a MicroSD card reader.
