The summer season is slowly drawing to a close, with September getting closer and closer and the hottest time of the year inevitably remaining behind us. September 2021 however is a period of videogame releases and there are so many titles that we can play next month. So let’s find out what they are all video games coming for September 2021.

Xuan-Yuan Sword VII
Expected to be released in September, but without a precise release date, Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is an action RPG that is heavily inspired by products like Nioh, that is titles with high difficulty and marked soulslike characteristics. According to what we have seen so far, the game will have a vast map that can be freely explored and divided into regions full of enemies to face and puzzles to solve.
The title will have a strong customization component resulting from increasingly advanced equipment, skills and weapons.
Lake – September 1
Lake is an adventure game in which we’ll take on the role of Meredith Weiss, a woman in the height of her career who decides to return to her country of birth to take her father’s place in the local post office. In the title we will therefore be able to freely explore the town and decide the fate of the protagonist over the two weeks in which the events narrated take place.
Lake is expected to arrive only on PC and Xbox.
WRC 10 – 2 September
The new chapter of the racing game series licensed by FIA World Rally Championship is coming just this September. The game promises breathtaking racing with a high level of detail and realism, a real must for motoring enthusiasts.
The game will arrive on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and later on the Nintendo Switch.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – 2 settembre
Always the 2nd of September also arrive Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, an isometric role-playing game with a fantasy setting. The title offers players a vast game world full of fantastic creatures with a high rate of customization.
The title will be released this September for PC, while for the console versions we will have to wait until next year.
The Medium (PS5 version) – September 3
The Medium is preparing to debut in physical version and for the PlayStation 5 console this September. The game was previously only available for PC and Xbox, and now Sony users will finally be able to enjoy this very special Survival Horror.
FIST – September 7
FIST is a new Metroidvania coming this September, which will allow us to play the role of an anthropomorphic rabbit particularly prone to violence, as the name of the game already suggests. The title proposes an aesthetic dieselpunk, in fact at our disposal we will have an entire exoskeleton, with lots of functions to use once in battle.
FIST will be available at launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
Sonic Colors Utimate – September 7
We continue our list of video games coming in September 2021 with this remastered version of the iconic Blue Hedgehog adventure due to arrive on September 7th. The original game dates back to 2010 and this cleaned up version promises to include several better and updates to the gaming experience of the time.
Sonic Colors Ultimate is expected to arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Tales Of Arise – 10 Settembre
New episode of the series Tales Of, Tales Of Arise will hit shelves on September 10th. Playfully speaking, we are faced with a branded JRPG Namco Bandai, with real-time strategic combat and an anime-style aesthetic. The game already had a playable demo, in which it proved to be a pretty cool product in the RPG scene.

Life is Strange: True Colors – 10 settembre
Life is Strange: True Colors is the third installment in the Life is Strange series, which this time around will follow the story of Alex, a girl with the super power of empathy. The game will be released in full version, unlike its predecessors which were released in episodes, and will have a series of downloadable content after launch.
The game will arrive on all platforms except Nintendo Switch.
WarioWare: Get It Togher! – 10 settembre
WarioWare: Get It Together! is the new incarnation of the famous series dedicated to Wario, Mario’s evil brother. The title offers 200 minigames to be played alone or in the company of friends locally as well as the possibility of taking control of Wario in some activities of the game.
The game will be available on Nintendo Switch.
Lost in Random – 10 settembre
Zoink Games is about to launch Lost in Random, its new puzzle adventure game with dark colors and a great focus on the component of the case, as you have surely already guessed from the title. Lost in Random bases its combat system precisely on the roll of a dice, with variable effects depending on the result of the shot.
The title will arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch.
NBA 2K22 – September 10
NBA 2K22 is the new episode of the historic 2K sports series all focused on stars and stripes basketball, arriving on September 10, 2021 on PC and the new and old generation consoles.
The game will arrive on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
Deathloop – September 14th
After countless postponements it seems that Deathloop is finally ready to reach the consoles of all players. The title is configured as a first-person action, in which players will have a very wide freedom of action, given that it is a shooter based on paradoxes and “time loops”.
The game will come next September 14, 2021 exclusive thunderstorm on PC e PlayStation 5.
Aragami 2 – 17 September
Aragami 2 is proposed as an improved and advanced version of the first chapter. We are therefore faced with an action game based on Ninja, violence and breathtaking fights, without neglecting a certain turn towards fantasy, since in the game we will also be able to make use of numerous arcane powers.
Moving through the settings of ancient Japan, players will be able to move in the shadows to carry out their revenge on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits – 21 settembre
Among the video games of September 2021 there is also Kena Bridge of Spirits, an action-adventure with a strong narrative component and a style vaguely reminiscent of that seen in Pixar films. Developed by the independent team Ember Lab, it is expected on PS4, PS5 and PC for 21 September 2021.
The game was originally scheduled to arrive in August but has been postponed to allow developers to implement the latest polishing work.
Sable – September 23rd
Sable is an Xbox-exclusive exploration adventure that promises a fascinating journey into a boundless desert that could be reminiscent of Journey at first glance. The game will arrive on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S this September 23 and could be one of the most interesting surprises of this season.
Death Stranding: Director’s Cut – 24 settembre
Re-edition of Death Stranding dedicated to PlayStation 5. This version of the game is expected to have an expanded storyline, new areas, new missions and multiple additions on the vehicle front, equipment and weapons available to the protagonist Sam Porter Bridges.
There will also be additional challenges, such as being able to challenge yourself in motor racing circuits.
Lost Judgement – 24 settembre
Lost Judgment is the sequel to the Yakuza spin-off of the same name. The project is carried out by the studio Ryu Ga Gotoku and will maintain the action approach of the previous chapter, but with different innovations regarding the combat system, the activities to be carried out and the narrative interweaving with the secondary characters.
The game will arrive on PS4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
New World – September 28th
New World is a fantasy sandbox MMO for PC in development at Amazon Game Studios. The release of the title is scheduled for September 28, 2021, with a Closed Beta phase that took place in July.
The game has been postponed several times, but it seems that this month is the final release date.
In Sound of Mind – 28 settembre
In Sound Mind is a horror game produced by We Create Stuff coming this September to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X / S and Nintendo Switch. It is, as seen in the published trailers, a psychological horror with a great narrative impact and with a gameplay devoted to exploration and Jump Scare.
Lemnis Gate – September 28
Lemnis Gate is a particular turn-based first-person shooter, whose 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 multiplayer games are structured in turns lasting just 25 seconds. The official opening of the servers is scheduled for September 28 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
