On the occasion of CES 2022, Amazon e Stellantis, one of the leading car manufacturers in the world born from the merger between FCA and PSA, have announced a cooperation linked to a series of global and multiannual agreements. In fact, Amazon and Stellantis will collaborate to provide software solutions to be implemented in the new platform for the digital passenger compartment, called STLA SmartCockpit, which will make its official debut in the course of 2024.

It should also be noted that Stellantis take advantage of the services of Amazon Web Services which will become the cloud provider for vehicle platforms. The two companies also plan to launch a series of collaborative engineering initiatives with the aim of accelerating the time to market of new digital products. While, Amazon will expand its delivery network becoming the first customer of the new Ram ProMaster, fully electric vehicle made by the Stellantis group. Among the new additions we find the integration of the Fire TV experience in some of the Stellantis models which will be the first automotive OEM to implement the Alexa custom assistant.

Regarding the new agreement announced in these hours, Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis, declares: “By leveraging artificial intelligence and cloud solutions, we will transform our vehicles into personalized living spaces and improve the overall customer experience. Our cars will become more captivating and sophisticated, appreciable even when not driving. “
Andy Jassy, CEO di Amazon ,he adds, “We are implementing solutions that will help Stellantis accelerate connected and personalized experiences in cars, making every journey smarter, safer and more traveler-friendly.
