Animal Crossing New Horizons: autumn arrives with the new update!

The latest update of Animal Crossing New Horizons has introduced the autumn season to the game, here are all the news

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is gearing up for fall as Nintendo introduces another limited-time seasonal item, all in new update of the hugely popular title. The news was just revealed on Animal Crossing UK’s official Twitter account. Players will now be able to reroll a Basket of harvest by Nook Shopping. The basket looks like a piece of clothing and has no practical use, however, it only costs 800 bells. Let’s see all the details about it in the next lines of this article.

Animal Crossing New Horizons: Autumn has already arrived in the game, but the update is certainly not the most substantial

The new Basket of harvest is available with the new update from Animal Crossing New Horizons. The item in question will only be available from 1 al September 30, 2021. Nintendo has consistently added limited-time items to the game since its release (a cucumber horse and eggplant cow, a rodeo-style bungee ride-on, Cowherd items, and Weaver Girl Day, to name a few). However, as expected, many players have been disappointed with these additions hoping instead for a more substantial update to the game.

This does not mean that Nintendo has completely neglected the real-life simulation of the island, the Japanese giant has in fact recently promised that Animal Crossing: New Horizons will get “more free content” before the end of the year. Whether that means more plant animals or some sort of island expansion is yet to be revealed, however, fingers crossed for the soon-to-be addition of fan-favorite NPC, Brewster.

If you’ve had your fair share of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ll already know what to expect this fall, however, if you’re new here is what to expect. Not only will everyone’s islands (in the Northern Hemisphere) get a fall makeover that will add orange and red trees, acorns, mushrooms and more, but you’ll also have events like Animal Crossing: New Horizons Turkey Day e Halloween to have fun anywhere during the season in question.
