Annapurna Interactive, a division of the larger Annapurna Pictures (which publishes video games but also film and television material), has released several successful indie video games in recent years. Just think of Outer Wilds, What Remains of Edith Finch or Kentucky Route Zero: most likely these are names that a fan of the medium will have at least heard of. This, combined with the fact that there are various projects in progress, has led the company to officially announce the Annapurna Interactive Showcase, an event dedicated to the presentation of these projects. Let’s see below what it is specifically.
The contents of the Annapurna Interactive Showcase
Announced via their official Youtube channel, a short teaser trailer of the Interactive Showcase of Annapurna is released in which various excerpts of the titles that we will be able to admire during the event are shown. We can see that, for example, the exclusive PS5 Stray will be present, where the player is in the peculiar situation of having to take on the role of a cat in a cyberpunk world.
In addition to Stray we can see many other interesting projects. Between Solar Ash, Skin Deep, Neon White and the DLC for The Outer Wilds called Echoes of the Eye, we can say that an event of absolute interest is expected, and that fans will surely have enough bread for their teeth. The event will take place on July 29 (and is therefore disconnected from any talk regarding E3 and Summer Games Fest), and it will begin in Italy at 9 pm.
