The source of this rumor is the Korean forum Clien, in which a post claims that Apple is working on a “hybrid” console exactly like Nintendo Switch. The resulting new hardware would use a new chip never before seen in the company’s products, ensuring “high-performance GPU e support for ray tracing“. In all of this, it seems Ubisoft is one of the publishers consulted during development. The post does not mention any source, but although TechRadar has openly distrusted the return of the silicone giant in the gaming sphere, the rumor is already circulating.

The financial risk, in Apple’s case, it would be very high. Sony has already tried to beat Nintendo in the field of portable gaming and Microsoft is not interested in making any attempt.
