Land of the Rising Sun, source of constant rumor: insider Jeff Grubb talks about Japan as the first destination of Assassin’s Creed Infinity
Recent rumor they framed the Japan as an ideal setting for the neighbor Assassin’s Creedil live service Infinity. Lately, the scenario of future chapters in Ubisoft’s murderous saga has been a source of discussion, as Rift (the more … contained, in content, of the two) was rumored for a pre-Columbian theme before Jason Schreier relaunched with Baghdad. The question and answer between insiders is now a constant in the gaming chat, and today’s voice has gained our attention coming from the golden voice of another big shot in the industry.
Heralded as an ever-evolving live service not unlike a random Fortnite, Assassin’s Creed Infinity will consist of a microcosm of games and settings that (after Japan, evidently) will follow each other over the years. During a recent episode of his Game Mess, the always talkative Jeff Grubb asserted that the transalpine publisher’s next project would have opted for the Far East. According to him, it would be a great open-world RPG in a very similar way to what happened recently in the series. We leave you at podcast.
It must be said that the Land of the Rising Sun has been around for some time now one of the most requested settings by fans of the saga. If, therefore, this indiscretion (mandatory conditional, as sorry as we are) turns out to be true, it would mean a lot for those who have learned the hard way every “Requiescat in pace” by Ezio Auditore. However, a September awaits us a Ubisoft Forward Showcase, where we will also talk about the future of the white and red hen laying the golden eggs of the publisher. The toto-announcement for that presentation gives Rift as a favorite, but it’s possible Ubisoft will unbutton a bit on the live service as well.
