Ubisoft has several new features planned for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and among them is the arrival of a weekend to play the game for free

The success of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the latest effort of the iconic Ubisoft franchise, has become a factor impossible not to recognize. The story of Eivor and the innovations brought about by the new title of the saga have finally found an appreciation by fans of the series on the assassins, after several years of continuous holes in the water and copying of previous chapters. The frequent updates and events that have been introduced in the title have led it to be too the highest-earning single-player game in Ubisoft’s history, thus reconfirming how this is the right way for the publisher. In the past few hours, on its official Twitter profile, Ubisoft has released the first roadmap of this year regarding the next news that will occur towards Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, free weekend is coming

We already know how Ubisoft had already set aside something for this 2022: in March, Dawn of Ragnarok, the gigantic expansion of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that will almost seem to be a game in its own right, by going to see the amount of original content (apparently we are talking about thirty-five hours of gameplay) that it will be able to offer. In addition to that, in the Ubisoft roadmap you can see how starting from the next hours game owners can look forward to the 1.5.0 update. But it doesn’t end there: the studio intends to give life to a new free weekend, where you can play Assassin’s Creed Valhalla without spending a cent.

It is not the first time that Ubisoft has decided to carry out events of this kind: it has already happened on several occasions against Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and also for the highly-played multiplayer title Rainbow Six Siege. Instead, speaking of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla free weekend, it will start on February 24th, ending four days later, on February 28th. It will also be available on all platforms, and will likely help bring a lot of other players closer to the title, waiting for the DLC to be released on March 10th.
