The unique shape of the switch eliminates the delay due to the bounce so that the keys react exactly when the pressure occurs. The square and recessed structure, the four corner locks of the keycaps and the X-shaped stabilizer mechanism ensure maximum precision even in repeated typing sequences, while the guaranteed duration of 100 million keystrokes ensures extreme resistance. Claymore II is available in Italy with ROG RX Red Switch.

Claymore II comes with a magnetic palm rest and a detachable numeric keypad that can be attached on both sides of the keyboard in 80% format (becomes 100% with numpad connected), to adapt to different styles and configurations. ASUS ROG Claymore II: revolutionizes the concept of keyboard

The ROG Claymore II offers a set of functions specifically designed to ensure maximum configuration flexibility while gaming. The numeric keypad, in addition to adapting to personal preferences, also improves the user experience for left-handed users. Without numpad the keyboard remains fully functional with an 80% form factor. Using the accessory, macro configurations can be programmed to speed up complex game controls. The maximum responsiveness of the keys is the real strength. These optical switches have a hollow square stem design and are embellished with built-in RGB LEDs to support wireless Aura Sync lighting.

The characteristic data of these keys are truly record-breaking: the command actuation point is 1.5 mm, while the minimum necessary typing force is about 40 grams (gf); 55 gf overall are needed to perfect the pressure. This, in short, means that comfort is never in question, even during long gaming sessions. In addition, the ROG RX structure allows the replacement of mechanical keys in a simple and fast way, both to obtain sophisticated aesthetic effects and to maximize the performance during gaming.
