The software designed to speed up the PC are now many. Today we are going to find out in this review Auslogics BoostSpeed 11
Having a PC that is both fast and performing is the dream of every technology lover. Spending a lot of money to buy the necessary components, however, is not affordable for many and often we are forced to fall back on something cheaper. In short, it’s like wanting to buy a Ferrari and then find yourself having to buy a Fiat Punto. We will still have something reliable and decent, but that it will not guarantee us the same comfort and performance.
So how to make the PC more performing? Obviously, if we do not touch the hardware part of our computer, it will be impossible to change the calculation speed of our CPU or manage more processes (more or less heavy) with a “limited” RAM. However, thanks to some software dedicated to the “speeding up” of our machine, it will be possible optimize the various processes (and not only) to lighten the load on our hardware components, making the PC more performing. Let’s start this review and find out together Auslogics BoostSpeed 11.
Essential layout and ease of use – Auslogics BoostSpeed 11 review
After downloading from the official page and a fairly basic installation, the program will be ready to go into operation. At the first start, the simple layout that distinguishes this software. In fact, just below the menu bar we can see the various subdivision cards with all various operations that can be performed from our software. The main and also the most important, however, remains the “Dashboard“.
Here the work plan will be divided into two large sections. The first (which is the larger one) on the left shows the basic information of our car at the top, while in the center we find the “speedometer” relating to the speed of our PC with the relevant scan button next to it. At the bottom instead we find some profits quick settings which will allow us to activate or deactivate some modes and to perform some operations quickly. In the section on the right instead we will find gods useful tips by the software itself that will allow us to start the recommended actions without having to search for them in the program.
Easy to use
As is already clear from the previous paragraph of this review of the Auslogics BoostSpeed 11 software, using this program will not be a difficult undertakingnor will in-depth knowledge be required. It will only be enough for you follow the advice of the same and that’s it. Although the Italian language is not present, the English used in the software will be easy to understand and will allow a fairly loose use even to those less accustomed.
If, on the other hand, you do not want to follow the advice of the program, you can still find and select the operation you want. The optimal subdivision of the work cards in fact allows track it easily, without wasting too much time. To complete it all we find excellent lightness of the program which, except in the case of particularly heavy processes, does not aggravate the slowness of our computer.
A Deep Level Computer Maintenance – Auslogics BoostSpeed 11 Review
What is even more striking about this software is its ability to really go into maintenance of the PC. In fact, if some programs stop only at the surface layer, with Auslogics BoostSpeed 11 we will go deep into the cleaning and optimization operations. Through some tools it will in fact be possible access several advanced tools. Among these it is necessary to mention some such as:
- Windows Slimmer – This particular tool allows you to clean up our operating system from all those files considered useless, such as the WinSxS libraries considered obsolete. Once the scan starts, the program itself will suggest what to clean or not. However, this may still cause you some problems with programs that may use those same libraries
- Startup Manager – Through this tool the user can check all processes (related to applications) that are automatically started when the system is started. The Auslogics Startup Manager also allows you to manage Shell Extensions, Internet Explorer Extensions, Task Scheduler and Background Tasks, giving an assessment of the impact of individual items.
- Disk Defrag – With this tool the user can defragment the disk. This operation is very effective, especially in terms of loading, as it allows the different files to be placed close to each other on the hard disks (HDD), thus allowing faster and more effective reading and loading.
In short, it is not exactly the usual program that “speeds up” the PC only in that instant with a superficial maintenance, but guarantees us excellent performance even over time, thanks to its tools for deeper cleaning and optimization.
Final Thoughts – Auslogics BoostSpeed 11 Review
We have reached the end of this review of Auslogics BoostSpeed 11 and it is now time to take stock. The program is presented immediately, from its first start, very intuitive. Great to have the tips already in the Dashboard, to make them more accessible and to ease more and more the task to the less experienced user. Also very welcome is the possibility of being able to carry out an even deeper maintenance (and consequently an optimization) thanks to the various tools contained in the single program.
All these operations they will significantly speed up our car, avoiding unnecessarily overloading the CPU and RAM. However, many of these functions will be usable only with the Pro version of the program. Although the license for the full version is paid (about 50 €), this can be activated on as many as 3 PCs. This allows a user with multiple computers to purchase the product only once and reuse it on other platforms as well.
That’s all for this Auslogics BoostSpeed 11 review. In order not to miss further news on the software world and everything related to the technological universe, keep following the pages of techgameworld.com!
