At the moment, this hot scoop has not yet seen clear confirmation either from the Netflix platform or from other official channels. If confirmed, Avatar: The Last Airbender could come out in conjunction with another highly anticipated live-action adaptation, namely, that of One Piece. Most likely, the long wait for material or further details; it could turn out to be a strategy of Netflix itself, to distance the two so-anticipated adaptations as much as possible.
However, according to some small revelations and anticipations coming from the actor Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (Uncle Iroh), the series will deal with mature and deep tones.
Filming of Avatar: The Last Airbender, started in November 2021 on the Vancouver set, ended only in June 2022.
With eight total episodes of 60 minutes each; in addition to the aforementioned Paul Sun-Hyung Lee; will be present in the cast the young man Gordon Cormier for the role of Aang; Kiawentiio Tarbell; Ian Ousley and Dallas Liu and finally the famous Daniel Dae Kim as Lord Ozai.
