Battlefield Mobile has appeared on the Android Google Play Store and EA has taken the opportunity to reveal the first, interesting details: let’s find out together
Unveiled with an official announcement last June, Battlefield 2042 channeled attention for months and months, until it had to share it with Call of Duty Vanguard. The next title in the DICE shooter series seems to want to aim, as it always has, at sensationalism and spectacularity and recent rumors have rumbled an upcoming beta, of which, however, no official confirmation has yet been given. Electronic Arts, publisher of the series, is not only working on the new main episode of the series, but also on a spin-off dedicated to the mobile world. Battlefield Mobile has finally appeared in our gaming lives.
In the past few hours, in fact, Battlefield Mobile has officially made its appearance on the Google Play Store and EA has taken the opportunity to reveal some interesting details and plans for the future. First, Battlefield Mobile will be a titolo free-to-play which will pick up many elements from the major releases on consoles and PCs. Announced later in the year, is developed by Industrial Toys with various inputs from DICE. The first limited test will begin during the fall in Indonesia and the Philippines and will only be available on devices running Android 7.0 or higher.
Battlefield Mobile: testing begins on Android!
As it seems pretty obvious, Electronic Arts has also claimed that the game will allow you to buy cosmetic items with real money and a battle pass. As for the content of the initial test, it will apparently be limited to the Battlefield 3 Conquest on Grand Bazaar map. Obviously, the spectacularity and destruction we were talking about at the beginning, typical of the series, will return. Battlefield Mobile will have four different classes: Assault, Support, Medic and Recon. You can of course change the appearance of your hero to your liking. There will also be a progression system which will grant you experience and upgrades for each weapon, as well as numerous skins for your soldier’s equipment.
At the moment it is not possible in any way to register for the tests on Android, so we will have to wait until the pre-registrations for Battlefield Mobile are also available in Italy.
